Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is a unique nationala park as within it there are lions climbing trees, this is adaptive behaviour because of wet land allover the time which destroyed lion's neils hence they adapted climbing trees to escarp the problem. The park is located 126 kilometres from Arusha town, and covers a total of 330 square kilometres. The Park is set in a natural Crater, creating a beautiful environment for Safari. The park attracts a lot of visitors due to it being the natural habitat of many different species of beautiful bird, who spend their days searching for food from the Mnayara lake shore. In total there are over 400 species of bird living in the park.
Apart from birds, also are many animals that inhabit the park, such as Elephants, Lions, Buffalo’s, Leopards, Baboons, Zebra’s, and many other herbivores. Not only that, the presence of hot pring make the park more unique. Water comes up from the ground bubbling, and they flow all year round in all seasons. A night game drive is only possible in this national park to experience noctunal hunting as all other national park game drive end at the early 6:00 pm.
